Tegan Sharpe suffers from cerebral palsy requiring 24-hour care and the many friends of the 15-year-old and her family have organised a fundraising sportspersons' luncheon at Thirroul Bowling Club on February 16. Dual Commonwealth Games marathon champ Kerryn McCann, former Test prop Mark Carroll and champion ironman Darren Mercer are the guest speakers, with i98FM's Marty Haynes the MC. It's a great opportunity to share an afternoon with champions from three sports and aid Tegan and her family. Tickets are $60, including lunch and drinks. Details from Thirroul BC on 4267 1148.
